Kate Wilder Interior Design in Colorado Springs is a design firm that encompasses a broad range of styles. With her (unique/keen) eye for detail and design, Kate creates sophisticated interiors that reflect her client's individual personalities.

With a father who was a builder, investor, broker, (and all-around good guy) Kate grew up in the industry. Before High School, Kate learned how to use a paint roller and spent many hours walking vacant lots and job sites.

With a passion to make a difference for children in difficult domestic circumstances, Kate attended Arizona State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice with. minor in sociology. Kate found she could be most effective as a volunteer.

Unable to stay away from the building industry for long. In 1998, Kate had the opportunity to work with the award winning high end custom home builder Nichols & Comito, LLC. For over 10 years, Kate worked in multiple roles. Her job titles included, Sales and Marketing, Client Coordinator and Marketing Director. In her time with Nichols & Comito, Kate learned everything she could from the talented people around her.

Kate branched out on her own as a consultant and in 2009 started consulting with Interiors by Joni Bader. Once again Kate took the opportunity to learn everything she could about the industry from her talented colleagues. Kate spent the next decade working on some of the most beautiful houses built in Colorado Springs.

With her bachelors degree and two-decade long career in residential construction/interior design, Kate earned the designation "ASID Associate" from the American Society of Interior Designers in 2017.

Specializing in new construction and renovations, Kate listens carefully to her clients to develop and present well planned concepts that incorporate the latest materials. She is able to simplify the multiple decisions involved, while having fun in the process.
